Laura has been a teacher in training her whole life. As a child she danced & dreamed in her front yard, until one day she made her way into her first ballet class. Her passion for dancing developed and expanded out of the walls of the studio into a university dance company. She enjoyed a brief tour to Europe, but soon found love & children to follow. After a couple of years of repose she co-founded a ballet academy for young girls in a small town in Southern Colorado. During the same period, the seeds of a personal yoga practice were planted from the Ashtanga yoga tradition. After relocating to Northern California, Laura took a leap into teacher training with Stuart Rice of Bhakti Warrior Yoga in the style and spirit of vinyasa yoga. Following her 200 hour certification, she trained with Shiva Rae in Venice California to deepen her knowledge and creativity. Her respect for multiple styles of yoga have grown through attending workshops with Gary Kraftsow, Sarah Powers, and David Saul Rae. She expanded her training with a mat pilates certification with BASI in 2007. She has taught mat pilates, power, vinyasa, restorative, hatha & partner yoga classes at her own studio in Northern California before relocating to South Orange County. She now resides in Dana Point with her husband & 3 handsome boys!
